The One Appointment Crown Procedure

CEREC 3D is no longer a new, untested technology. Sirona CEREC crowns celebrated 21 years of providing one appointment crowns and inlays in 2007. Since 2004 we have been fortunate enough to have provided thousands of these one appointment CEREC crowns to our patients with remarkable precision and consistency.
Even 10 years ago CEREC users would admit that the results were often unpredictable, but like most computer applications, those problems have been eliminated. Advances in the 3D software and CAD-CAM hardware occur about every 6-9 months, making design simpler and more accurate. Consistently, we are able to provide this service in 60-90 minutes. Patients needing multiple teeth restored can often have 3 or 4 crowns placed in less than two and a half hours.
